‘ve been qualified to administer Strengthscope™ since 2007. It’s a leading assessment tool that provides a comprehensive measurement of an individual’s strengths at work. The Strengthscope™ tool is being used by a wide range of major organisations including Abbey, American Express, Ealing Council, ING Direct, Legal and General, Tesco, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Volkswagen.

In my experience it helps individuals and teams to learn about their strengths and focus on those seven areas that they really excel in. It can also be useful in a coaching situation to identify why something might be going wrong. If someone uses their strength too much (in overdrive) it can become a ‘weakness’ and de-rail them.

Strengthscope™ helps individuals understand:

  • Their standout strengths
  • The unintended consequences that may arise when strengths go into overdrive
  • The extent to which they are able to productively apply their strengths at work
  • How visible their strengths are to others

The Strengthscope™ feedback report provides a comprehensive account of the strengths, along with ideas as to how to put these strengths to better use at work. The feedback report forms a basis for a strengths-focused feedback session to provide the respondent with the best chance of achieving their personal best at work.

If a whole team does the profile, you can also generate a team profile which can be extremely useful in building appreciation and understanding across the whole team.
