Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®)

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®)

This is one of my favourite tools for individual and team development.

Developed by Isabel Myers and Katharine C Briggs more than 50 years ago, it is a powerful indicator of personality type. Most large companies use MBTI®. It can also be used by individuals looking to develop their self-awareness, communication skills and flexibility. I would encourage anyone interested in developing themselves to go through an MBTI® profile with a trained facilitator.

MBTI® Step 1 looks at four dimensions

  • Where people get their energy
  • How people take in information
  • How people make decisions
  • How people orientate themselves in the world

Take a look at this short power point presentation to get an overview of what MBTI® is all about
